It’s summer,
I’ll always remember it!
Scrumptious ice cream on the beach,
Sizzling sausages on the barby.
Salty smells of the sloshing sea water,
Splashing of happy kids jumping in the deep ocean.
AND THEN DOING IT ALL OVER AGAIN!
Great big gulps of sparkling coke,
A wiz and a splash of me pulling in a great big fish.
That’s a classic kiwi summer!
